The highly anticipated league in the world of Women’s Cricket, WPL 2024 is about to bring in some excitement to the fans of Womens Cricket in India and all over the world. The Women’s Premier League (WPL) commissioner has announced the schedule for the 2024 season, which kicks off on February 23rd at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The first 11 matches, scheduled from February 23rd to March 4th, will take place in Bengaluru. Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi will be the venue for the second half of the tournament. The eliminator and final rounds will also take place in Delhi on 15th and 17th March respectively.
A total of 22 matches will be played in the league stage. The team that finishes at the top of the table will advance directly to the final. The teams finishing in second and third place will battle it out in the eliminator to decide who joins them in the final.
As per the 2024 WPL schedule there are no double headers with one match on each day starting from 23rd Feb. All matches of WPL 2024 will start at 7:30 PM IST.
