The two-time defending champions’ wheel has come off spectacularly with losing three games on the spin, languishing at the last in the ladder. The top order is completely in a dire strait, as Zack Crawley’s 27 is the individual highest score among them. David Bedingham’s promotion to open hasn’t worked either.

The bowlers have had middling returns so far, but Naveen Al Haq, the Afghani pacer, has been the major disappointment, who went for 52 runs in the last game.
