Boland Park, Paarl

This is a ground where bowlers stay in the game, and totals at Boland Park are usually on the low side.

Across the last 5 T20 matches here, the side batting first has averaged 137, with chasing teams averaging 123. Batting first, a side will want something around 130-145 on the board. Results have been evenly split: 2 wins for the side batting first and 2 for the chasers.

The last 5 first-innings scores here, newest first: 134/8 (BOL), 128/8 (TIT, lost), 173/5 (BOL, won), 148/9 (BOL, won), 102/3 (BOR-W, lost). First-innings totals here have ranged from 102 to 173 in that time.

Toss call: a close one. Bowling first and knowing the target is the safer choice.
