Albert Park 1, Suva Pitch Report
The surface at Albert Park 1 has played true in recent outings, offering a fair contest between bat and ball. The average first innings score here stands at 156, which is on the higher side for this region, suggesting batters have been able to find runs once they get set.
Pacers get a bit of movement with the new ball, but the wicket generally settles into a good batting track as the innings progresses. Spinners may come into play later, but control and accuracy will matter more than sharp turn.
Importantly, all three T20 matches played at this venue have been won by teams batting first, which makes the toss a crucial factor. Anything around 150–160 should be considered a very competitive total here.
