Cricket Carnival is back in South Africa as we gear up for season two of Betway SA20. The tournament will start on January 10, 2024. Building on the success of the inaugural season, SuperSport has been working hard to make it a success. The broadcasting partners, SuperSport are planning exciting contests for the fans this season.
One such innovation is the “Com Cam,” which offers front row seats to the commentary box, where cricketing legends provide useful insights of the game.
The broadcasters are also bringing back the “Dug Out” feature for the second season of SA20. In this feature, a boundary-level camera connects the players and coaches. Another exciting facility that the fans can witness this season is “Couch.” This facility keeps the commentators, fans and celebrities engaged throughout the game.
SuperSport’s aim is to keep the fans engaging throughout the match hours. They want to bring in a stadium-like experience to all the viewers watching from home. One of the most intriguing features of SA20 2024 is Unprecedented Audio Access. The fans will have the audio acess to all the important calls made the third umpire to the on-field umpire.

Building on the success of Season 1, SuperSport is stepping up our game to bring viewers the experience to match the Betway SA20 action. From technological innovation to unique fan experiences, SuperSport is invested in ensuring that, whether you’re watching on DStv Stream or Premium, the experience is as enthralling as being at the venue,” said Ramovha.

Innovation is at the heart of what we do, and together with SuperSport, we want to raise the bar in the way we watch cricket but also create a platform for fans to engage, connect, and experience the game in a whole new way. So, whether you’re watching from the comfort of your home or cheering in the stadium, we want to make it an incredible experience.”
To enhance and keep the fans engaging for the first time SA20 will be telecasted in three African languages. The fans in South Africa can enjoy the game in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa.
